Stabilize and structure the digital ecosystem of a multi-school group

OMNES Education is a major player in private higher education in Europe. The group brings together 15 specialized schools (management, communication, engineering, political science, etc.) and welcomes nearly 40,000 students each year on 19 campuses in France and internationally.

Background

The OMNES Education group brings together 15 specialized schools (management, communication, engineering, political sciences, etc.). In this multi-brand context, digital is not a simple medium: it is at the heart of the acquisition and image strategy.

In 2022, the group entrusted us with the resumption of its website factory WordPress.

The stake: secure conversion tunnels and restore stability to an ecosystem that has become too fragile.

A complex ecosystem to be restored to control

The platform has several friction points:

  • Bugs slowing down revenue and production
  • Unstable CRM/ERP connectors
  • A large technical debt
  • A very partitioned logic between school sites

In concrete terms, this meant a loss of fluidity in lead lifts – and therefore a direct pressure on the main KPI of the group. Before we turned, we had to be trustworthy.

Phase 1 – Stabilize and secure

We start by resuming the full maintenance of thewebsite factory, in order to secure the collection and transmission of leads.

  • Fixed blocker bugs
  • Recast CRM/ERP connectors
  • Optimization of data flows
  • Restylage of certain sites, including Pub's Sup, to improve the experience without engaging in heavy overhaul

The platform also migrates to VIP WordPress, guaranteeing performance, resilience during peak traffic and international coverage via CDN.

Achieved: a healthy, stable and usable base at the group level.

Phase 2 – Laying a new base with a pilot site

Once the platform has been secured, OMNES is embarking on the complete overhaul of the Sup site of Pub, which was conceived as a driver for future developments.

We are developing a new technical base based on a 100% Gutenberg & Full Site Editing theme:

  • Optimized performance
  • Clarified user experience
  • Enhanced interoperability
  • Architecture designed to evolve

This project marks a change of logic: we no longer correct existing, we build a standard for the future.

Phase 3 – Industrialize with a Master Theme

In a context of market consolidation, OMNES decides to accelerate the standardization of its sites and the pooling of resources.

We develop a modular WordPress theme master, backed by a transverse design system (UX & UI), able to adapt to the specifics of each school while guaranteeing:

  • Brand consistency
  • Technical performance
  • Rapid deployment
  • Reduced maintenance costs

The objective is to move from an independent multisite logic to a truly mutualised platform.

A long-term structured partnership

Beyond projects, collaboration is part of a structured and proactive RUN.

Applications are prioritized, processed quickly, and followed with clear visibility. The teams advance with an interlocutor who knows the history, the constraints of the group, etc...

Subjects are not managed on a case-by-case basis. They are part of a continuity: optimization, anticipation, progressive adjustments. This framework avoids successive recasting cycles and allows the platform to evolve in a controlled manner.

Result

Today, OMNES advances with a solid and coherent digital ecosystem. Leads go up reliably, the platform holds on during the highlights, and teams can work without bypassing technical frailties.

Above all, digital becomes a lever again. Decisions are made more calmly, developments are in a clear logic, and each new school can integrate into an already structured framework.

In a multi-brand group on the move, this stability actually changes daily life. It releases energy to focus on the key: strategy, attractiveness of schools, and growth.
