A new site to promote the territory

The Conseil départemental des Yvelines is an essential pillar of the development of the territory: a major player in the cultural, natural and sporting fields, it embodies the very essence of the Yveline identity.

Issue

The Directorate of Culture, Tourism and Sports has undertaken to modernise its tourism communication by merging the sites www.tourism.yvelines.frand www.sortir-yvelines.fr in a unique destination.

Issues: Create a new graphic identity and use APIDAE database (ITS).

The objective: to propel the Yvelines as a leading tourist destination in Ile-de-France, by proposing a digital platform that responds to new trends and promotes responsible tourismaligned with the Department ' s new tourism positioning.

Collaboration

Be API has met this technical challenge by ensuring interoperability between APIDAE – the platform for territories to capture and disseminate their tourist data – and the new WordPress site. Work that has enabled effective centralization of content and reorganization of user paths, thus improving the fluidity and attractiveness of navigation.

As part of this collaboration, a major work of Artistic Directorate was also undertaken. Our design team has reviewed the entire Look & Feel of the platform, giving it a dynamic and modern look, reflecting the attractiveness of the territory. We also created a new logo to strengthen the brand identity and accompanied the departmental council team in the development of this graphic charter. This process involved a real approach to co-creation, testing and exchanges with the teams of the Departmental Council.

Results

The new Destination Yvelines site has transformed the digital experience offered to visitors, offering more intuitive and engaging routes, and offering an DA that meets the challenges of the redesign.

This project is part of our close collaboration with the Yvelines Departmental Council since 2012, with which we have developed a complete digital ecosystem.
