A unified digital ecosystem for artisans and territories

The Chamber of Crafts and Crafts Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes accompanies craft companies in the region at each stage of their journey: creation, development, transmission. Present throughout the country thanks to its 224 local agencies, it mobilizes more than 600 employees to support artisanal know-how with a comprehensive offer of advice, training and assistance, while maintaining a strong proximity to the field.

Background

At the start of the project, the CMA's digital ecosystem Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes consisted of more than 25 independent institutional websites, designed over time according to local or business needs. This historical operation then had several limitations: a diffuse user experience, duplication of content, a very institutional image and management difficulties for internal teams. The CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes therefore wanted to make a strategic change of course, with a unique site to enhance its service offering, simplify access to information and better reflect its identity. All with high performance requirements, accessibility, and integration with internal tools.

Collaboration

To meet this ambition, Be API accompanied the CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in the design of a tailor-made, modular and scalable platform. The objective is to build a unified basis for centralizing services, while respecting the diversity of trades and the richness of user paths.

A unified architecture, thought for territorial diversity

  • Creation of about 20 Custom templates to meet the specific needs of each trade and service
  • Design of a Gutenberg Toolbox comprehensive for autonomous content management, without sacrificing global coherence.

A user-centred navigation

On the navigation side, the new site has been redesigned to adapt to concrete uses.

  • Implementation of guided journeys ("I am...", "I seek...") to effectively guide visitors according to their profile
  • Deployment of a interactive map for quick access to local services
  • Integration of self-diagnosis, facilitating identification of needs and referral to the right content

« Thanks to intuitive browsing, guided user paths, fun features such as quizzes and the search for profiles, this site allows us to strengthen our proximity to artisans while valuing our service offer. » Gaëlle Lambert – Head of Digital Pole – CMA

High technical requirement

The whole is based on a solid technical base.

  • Targeted optimizations page per page to ensure high performance throughout the site
  • Compliance with the RGAA level AA, ensuring a good level of accessibility for all audiences

Deep Interconnection with Salesforce

  • Automatic assembly of forms in CRM for structured monitoring and rapid processing of leads
  • Synchronization of products (training, services) to avoid duplication and keep data up to date

The result is a significant gain of time for teams, who can focus on their main mission.

« With this new site, we have taken a decisive step in our digital strategy. We now have a modern, ergonomic tool, accessible and focused on the concrete needs of artisans in our region. »

Result

The new CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes site embodies the digital transformation of the institution, with a unified ecosystem that is readable and focused on user needs. A unique platform to simplify access to information and a responsive and ergonomic site. An evolving resource space, continuously enriched and ready to host new features to support the CMA Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes digital strategy.

« This digital ecosystem looks like us: it inspires confidence, reflects our values and reflects our desire to evolve with the craft sector. » concludes Gaëlle Lambert.
